The Saturday epic game averaged 27.33M audience members on Fox networks, its Spanish-language channel and their digital services. Per ratings data, it was the second most-watched broadcast of the previous week.

It also is the top-rated Fall Classic game since the 2017 edition final game between the Dodgers and Houston Astros, which drew 29.07 million. This marks a sixteen percent increase compared to the last Game 7 featuring the Washington Nationals and Astros, which drew 23.19M.

In the weekly rankings, the sixth game ranked 4th, Game 4 was seventh, the fifth game was eighth, and the third game finished in 13th place.

Global Viewership Figures

In Japan, where the final contest started at 9 p.m. in the local time zone, it attracted 12 million. This came after last Friday’s Game 6 – where Fall Classic Most Valuable Player Yamamoto gave up one run in six frames – recorded 13.1M viewers, making it the highest-rated Fall Classic matchup on a single network in the country.
